Bob is the Co-Founder of WhereToLive.com and has been a CPA and business consultant for over 30 years, including his role as Senior Manager with Price Waterhouse. During his years with PW, he worked in their Minneapolis, Chicago and National (New York) offices with a variety of clients and industries. Prior to joining WhereToLive.com, Bob co-founded Carver Moquist & Associates, LLC, a full service CPA firm, in Minneapolis. He was a primary consultant to a variety of businesses in the real estate industry. While at PW, he participated in several Initial Public Offerings and has extensive experience in raising capital for privately held entities. After attending the US Military Academy for one year, he received a B.S. in Accounting from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Elizabeth Chesen

Elizabeth is the Co-Founder of WhereToLive.com and has nearly 20 years experience in the real estate technology field. She has served as the company’s COO since its inception and is responsible for daily operations including developing and managing sales, business development, customer management, service and support, and general corporate operations. Prior to founding WhereToLive.com in 1999, Elizabeth most recently co-founded TechnologyEvangelist.com, a consulting business offering companies guidance in the areas of technology development, personal productivity and strategic vision. In 1992, she co-founded Superstar Computing, a company that grew from a “garage” start-up into the leading provider of technology tools, training and support in the real estate industry. As Chief Operating Officer, she was responsible for all daily operations including developing and managing sales, customer service, technical support and program content for tens of thousands of clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. Elizabeth was instrumental in the successful sale of Superstar Computing to Merrill Corporation (formerly NASDAQ:MRLL), a $400 million company, in 1997. Elizabeth attended the University of Minnesota and St. Paul Technical College and has been a licensed REALTOR since 1990.

Alex has been with WhereToLive.com for over 7 years. Prior to joining WhereToLive.com Alex worked in a number of startups with businesses ranging from logistics management to medical insurance benefits. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota – Institute of Technology and a Master in Business Administration from Carlson School of Management.
Alex has a unique mix of technical and managerial skills. His technical background includes software development in various programming language and technologies. Over the last 10 years, he has managed a number of cross-functional teams and under his leadership, delivered a number of large, multi-year, multi-million dollar software projects. Alex has an extensive background in the development of cutting edge web-based application and is currently focused on applying his skills to building the world’s best Real Estate web platform.
Brian Utley

Brian joins us after a long career in the IT industry. He spent 37 years with IBM and was responsible for the development of many of IBM’s small and intermediate systems including the S/38, AS400 and PC. His influence within IBM impacted virtually all computer-based technologies and resulted in his appointment as Vice President and General Manager of the Personal Computer Division. Since his retirement from IBM, he has assisted a number of start-up companies in the manufacturing and IT industry. He attended Weber State University and San Francisco City College. His vast experience in technology, management and business development are a great asset to WhereToLive.com.

Ed is currently the Director of Strategic Internet Marketing and Development at WhereToLive.com. Prior to joining WhereTolive.com, Ed founded and managed Haystack In A Needle, a search marketing firm based in Minneapolis, MN offering pay per click and search engine optimization consulting services. Ed first surfed the web in 1993 while attending the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and hasn’t let go of his since.
