Controller in the Accounting Dept – interesting work that is both broad and deep, varied projects over time, AND learning from really smart people!

What I do when I’m not at work:
snowshoe, downhill and cross-country ski, bicycle, sail, travel, check out new restaurants, read Ed’s blog.

Little known/interesting facts about Yourself s:
I’m radioactive.

Office Dogs:
Missy Misserson – a Shih Tzu.

Other Pets:
Dust bunnies – too numerous to list all individually by name here.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Everywhere. Can’t pick just one place, unless I can have a house in the mountains by the ocean etc. You get the idea.

Favorite Book:
The Great Bridge by David McCullough –a terrific storyteller explaining an amazing technical feat.

Greatest Accomplishment:
survived childhood

Favorite Treat:
red wine paired with chocolate, or with red wine

Best Childhood Memory:
dashing thru the snow in a 1 horse open sleigh

Favorite/Most Memorable Vacation Spot:
Bike and barge trip in the Netherlands. There was an energizing ride thru charming rural countryside each day, and relaxing strolls and pubcrawls after dinner in a different port town each evening. The small barge crew was friendly as well as versatile (when the first mate wasn’t piloting the boat, he was serving the salads.)

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Rich, also famous.

Life lesson to share:
Nothing lasts forever. Be it good or be it bad, this too shall pass.
